Birding Census
Four groups work together to conduct monthly bird counts at Aransas National Wildlife Refuge October through May. Counts are scheduled in advance and can be held on any day of the week to accommodate members. This activity is open to non/new birders as well as to those with lots of experience. For those who are not experts, teaming with an experienced person will allow participants to learn at the same time. If you would like to volunteer with a particular group, contact the group leader:
