Training

Texas Master Naturalists receive 40 hours of initial, in-depth training from educators and specialists from universities, agencies, nature centers, and other organizations. The training is customized to focus on our local-area ecosystems, wildlife, native plants, and natural resource management. In addition, we earn a minimum of 8 hours of advanced training every year to complement our initial training. We choose topics in our own areas of interest from approved training offered.

Check out the most recent training schedule  to get an idea of the training offered by the Mid-Coast Chapter each year.
